Don Primus established Primus, Inc. in 1973 as a property development and home building company.  Over time, the company expanded to commercial construction and several commercial buildings were constructed for ownership and management by a subsidiary company, LAJ, L.C.

All buildings currently owned and managed were originally constructed by Primus and renovations are done to accommodate our tenants as needed.  Maintenance and management of the properties are a high priority.

In addition to office buildings, Don has developed many residential and commercial areas in Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha.  He continues to develop commercial property, which is available for sale.

Jayne Recker has been with Primus, Inc./LAJ, L.C. for 18 years and provides administrative, accounting and document preparation relating to the property leases and sale and closing of the real estate. Prior to working at Primus, Inc. Jayne worked for Bradley & Riley Law Firm in Cedar Rapids as a Real Estate Paralegal.
